Learn the room
Rules and etiquette first. You should know how to rotate, keep score, and ask for a game before you worry about ratings.
The first few sessions decide whether someone stays. Link & Dink gives new players a clean path: learn the basics, get placed honestly, and show up with people who match the room.

We use a bracket, not a fake exact rating. New, Rallying, Playing, Competing, or Tournament Level is enough to start.
The goal is a repeatable session with welcoming players, not one random open play night that depends on luck.
Place yourself
No self-rating needed. Answer a few quick questions and we'll place you in a starting bracket — we're placing you, not rating you, and a coach refines it in person later. Already know your level? You can skip straight to the brackets.
