Rotating partner

Rotating partner, 12 players (6 + 6 pools, gold + bronze)

12 players · 2 courts · plays in stages

How it runs

Rotating-partner round robin: you get a new partner every round and score for yourself, not your pair. Two reviewed pools of 6 play six round slots on 2 courts. Everyone plays four round-robin games to 11, win by 2, with four different partners and two nonconsecutive byes. Each player meets all five pool opponents, at most twice each. Individual standings stay within each pool. Gold: A1 + B2 against B1 + A2. Bronze: A3 + B4 against B3 + A4. Both medal games are to 15, win by 2. Standings are ranked by wins, then head-to-head wins among the tied players, then point differential, then point differential in games between the tied players, then point differential against the players just above, then points scored.

Shown with games to 11.

12 players has an exact schedule: everyone plays, no alternates.
