Rotating partner

Rotating partner, 9 players (1 pool, gold + bronze)

9 players · 2 courts · plays in stages

How it runs

Rotating-partner round robin: you get a new partner every round and score for yourself, not your pair. One reviewed pool of 9 plays five rounds on 2 courts. Everyone plays four round-robin games to 11, win by 2, with four different partners, and sits out one round; the last round uses one court. Gold: 1st + 4th against 2nd + 3rd. Bronze: 5th + 8th against 6th + 7th. Both medal games are to 15, win by 2; ninth finishes after the round robin. Standings are ranked by wins, then head-to-head wins among the tied players, then point differential, then point differential in games between the tied players, then point differential against the players just above, then points scored.

Shown with games to 11.

9 players has an exact schedule: everyone plays, no alternates.
